The Redditor shows two different images of the creation, with the “normal” version of the suncatcher boasting some red glass and purple bits that resemble Borderlands’ powerful resource Eridium. The suncatcher is made entirely out of stained glass, allowing it to be impacted by the sunlight in a positive way. However, it turned out to be a great idea, as KimFrancesArt nailed the design and made an incredible decoration. Still, even with a popular symbol being the focus, this project is very different. After all, it is likely to remain relevant to the franchise for years to come, as the concept of the Vaults is deeply engrained into the looter-shooter series’ story and gameplay. The cover of every main Borderlands game boasts the symbol, and it can be seen several times throughout each game. The Vault symbol is memorable for several reasons, the biggest being that it has become the official logo for the franchise. However, the Vault symbol is easily the thing that is most closely associated with Borderlands, so it makes sense that it would be the focus of one fan’s special project. The Borderlands franchises features plenty of iconic imagery, with gun manufacturer logos and Siren tattoos often standing out.
